Apparently, it isn’t obvious how “Duduke” is pronounced. Pretty much everybody pronounces it “do duke”, but it’s actually “do do ke”. We shall be spacing out the spelling to Du du ke henceforth.

Friends and Romans and countrymen...it is I. TMT. This is my playlist for the 3rd week of October. Treat her well. Carry her with you through your week and weekend and other week.
The idea with this one is to start with some 80’s synth, work through some modern funk and end with a little hip hop. Not the whole hip hop (that would be excessive), just a little hip hop. Anywayyyy, here we go.
Beyond being a horror movie about a clown, iT is a gorgeous song by Christine and the queens about transition. It’s also super catch and going to be stuck in your head till I replace with something else that’s incredible in a couple of weeks.
Yumi Zouma make really infectious baselines and pink pop music about unrequited love. Saika gets her hopes up is one of them.
Probably the first Goldink song ever released, Dance on me is also probably the best Goldlink song ever released.
Hell song by Collard is the song you play when you’re about to have sex with someone you never expected to have sex with. It’s…...well...it’s rather exquisite.
I must have been 12 or 13 when Love ya by unklejam suddenly appeared on MTV Base. Then I didn’t hear it again for about a decade. I never found out what it was called but it was stuck in my head for a while. Then it came on at a starbucks in Camden and I shazamed the shit out of it.
I’m not entirely sure what N.E.R.D’s Anti Matter is about but I think everyone should hear it at least once.
The world needs more Father fans. He’s an ATL rapper who’s super big on anime, dressing like a Conquistador and oddly placed tattoos. Joestar a pretty rap song and a reference to Jojo’s bizzare adventure. One of the strangest animes you will ever see.
I don’t call a lot of songs perfect. Mostly because I think music shouldn’t be perfect. CYANIDE (remix) by Daniel Caesar ft Koffee is a perfect song.
I’m really into rap songs that sounds like they’re for getting you through mundane life tasks like waiting in line or writing song reviews.. Mood by Lex Amor
Jailbreak the Tesla by Injury Reserve sounds like a cross between that one Teriyaki Boyz song about tokyo and an Idea Timi would have if he was drunk in San Fran.

I actually started compiling this much later than I usually would and as such, I had to come up with something quick and effective: nostalgia. These are some of the songs that got me through my early years in uni(lag).
Mind Your Manners - Chiddy Bang: This is probably my favourite Chiddy Bang song of all time. Yes, even better than Opposite Of Adults...I think. Anyway, I love Icona Pop and as such, the hook slaps. Where is Chiddy Bang these days anyway?
Breakeven - The Script: Nothing like Breakeven to get you reminiscing about your breakup up at 15.
How to Save a Life - The Fray
Sweet Disposition - The Temper Trap: This song was part of the 500 Days Of Summer OST. That movie wrecked me and listening to this jawn was the perfect way to get me in my feelings.
Viva La Vida - Coldplay: god level music. I shall say no more.
The Kill - Thirty Seconds To Mars: Man, this video was rinsed on MTV back in 2006/7. I remember 14 year old me screaming “BURY ME, BURY ME” at the TV & channeling my inner Jared Leto.
The Pretender - Foo Fighters
Sex On Fire - Kings of Leon: I wonder what they mean by “your sex is on fire”. At the time I thought they meant that someone’s genitals were warm to the touch but now I’m thinking maybe there’s an STD involved. Either way, it’s a sexy song.
Breaking The Habit - Linkin Park: A classic.
Bring Me To Life - Evanescence
Misguided Ghosts - Paramore: I actually can’t quite remember the subject matter but I do recall being close to tears on many occasions while listening to this.
Hold Yuh - Gyptian: This was the baddest, sexiest song in the land back in 2010.
Everybody at the rave needed to have preemptively secured a whine lest this come on and one has nobody to hold.
Oleku - Ice Prince: Tbh, I kind of miss Ice Prince bars. Brymo (featured) finished work on that hook.
Breezeblocks - alt-J: This wasn’t originally on the playlist but Spotify did it’s continuous play magic algorithm thing and everybody around me seemed to dig the segue.
